About ProductLift

The company behind ProductLift

ProductLift is a customer feedback and product management platform built and operated in Utrecht, the Netherlands, by Ruby Foundry B.V.

ProductLift began in 2017 as a feedback board for teams that needed a better way to decide what to build. It has grown into a connected workflow for feedback, prioritization, roadmaps, changelogs and knowledge bases, with AI helping teams find patterns and judge ideas against their product vision.

Our vision

We want to turn feedback spreadsheets into product decisions customers can see.

ProductLift helps teams collect feedback, set priorities, publish a roadmap and show customers what changed, all without losing the context behind the request.

Principles behind ProductLift

Keep the signal connected

Votes, comments, customer context, priorities and release updates belong to one product story, not separate tools and copied records.

AI should sharpen judgment

AI can find duplicates, summarize themes and score ideas against your vision. The product team keeps the final decision and its context.

Close the loop

Customers deserve to know what happened to their input. ProductLift carries requests into the roadmap and notifies voters when work ships.

Experience behind ProductLift

Ruben Buijs

Ruben is a serial entrepreneur and leads product direction and engineering for ProductLift. He started ProductLift in 2017 and Boei in 2020.

Before working on the products full time, he spent a decade in IT and management consulting at Accenture and Ernst & Young. His work included large digital programs for banks, insurers and other complex organizations.

The team behind ProductLift combines that direct product leadership with a flexible network of specialist contractors and established technology providers. The operating model keeps responsibility clear while adding expertise where the product needs it.

Built for the long term

ProductLift is privately owned and bootstrapped. That matters because customer needs and long-term product quality can guide the roadmap without an outside funding timetable.

Ruby Foundry supports the product with long-term specialist contractors, established technology providers, automated tests, monitored infrastructure, separate backups and documented deployments.
