Webhooks integration
Turn every customer signal into action
Send product feedback events to engineering, support, analytics and your data warehouse as they happen. ProductLift gives your team signed payloads, delivery visibility and resilient retries.
Business value
Close the gap between feedback and delivery
Respond to valuable feedback
Alert account teams when an important customer comments, votes or submits a new request.
Keep delivery tools in sync
Create or update work in your issue tracker when feedback changes status or reaches a priority threshold.
Measure the full feedback loop
Stream events to your warehouse and connect requests, decisions, releases and customer outcomes.
Seven event types
Trigger the next step at the right moment
Subscribe an endpoint to selected events, or leave the selection open to receive all events. A ProductLift portal can connect up to 10 endpoints.

Delivery log
Know what was sent and what happened next
Inspect each delivery by event, timestamp, HTTP status, response time and User-Agent. The built-in test action sends a signed sample and displays the returned status and response body before you go live.
- ✓ Diagnose failing automations without guessing
- ✓ Verify endpoint behavior before enabling production events
- ✓ See response latency alongside every attempt

Secure by default
Verify that every request came from ProductLift
Every payload is signed with HMAC-SHA256. Calculate the signature over the exact raw JSON body with your portal secret and compare it with the hexadecimal value in the Signature header.
signature = HMAC-SHA256(
portal_secret,
raw_request_body
)
Signature: 9f14c8...
Content-Type: application/json
Reliable operations
Built for production workflows
Test before launch
Send a synthetic signed payload and inspect the endpoint response directly in ProductLift.
Automatic retries
Temporary failures are retried a few times, so a brief outage does not immediately lose the event.
Safe auto-disable
An endpoint is disabled after 5 consecutive failed deliveries. Re-enable it when the issue is resolved.
Frequently asked questions
How many webhook endpoints can I add?
You can configure up to 10 endpoints for a ProductLift portal. Each endpoint can receive selected events or all available events.
What happens when my endpoint is temporarily unavailable?
ProductLift retries failed deliveries a few times. After 5 consecutive failed deliveries, the endpoint is disabled so repeated failures do not keep creating noise.
Can I test a webhook before using it?
Yes. The test action sends a synthetic signed payload and shows the returned HTTP status and response body.
How do I verify webhook requests?
Use your portal webhook secret to calculate an HMAC-SHA256 signature over the exact raw JSON request body, then compare it with the Signature header.
Where can I inspect deliveries?
The delivery log records the event, timestamp, HTTP status, response time and User-Agent for each attempt.
