What Happens Without a Moodle Feedback Board

Before

With ProductLift

Educators email IT about LMS issues with no tracking or visibility
Every request is logged with status updates and vote counts
Plugin compatibility complaints come through multiple channels
One centralized board captures all plugin and integration feedback
Student accessibility requests get lost in institutional bureaucracy
Students submit and vote on accessibility improvements directly
SCORM content issues are reported ad-hoc with no pattern analysis
Grouped feedback reveals systematic SCORM problems across courses

This tool is literally a needle in a haystack. I was using Frill, and this doesn't even compare. The user interface, the way it lays out — so amazing. Also amazing support team!

Moodle Knowledge Base Plugin

Learners and members have strong opinions about the platforms they use daily. Without a structured way to collect those opinions, you are guessing what to improve next.

ProductLift gives learners a voice. They submit suggestions, vote on priorities, and get notified when you ship. That feedback loop builds community engagement and reduces cancellations.

Why Moodle Administrators Need Structured Feedback Collection

Moodle installations at universities and training organizations serve hundreds or thousands of users across multiple departments. Each department has unique needs, from SCORM compliance for corporate training to accessibility requirements for student services. Without structured feedback, IT teams are left guessing which improvements to prioritize.

The open-source nature of Moodle means that plugin compatibility issues, theme conflicts, and upgrade side effects are common. A feedback board gives educators a structured way to report these issues instead of sending ad-hoc emails that get lost in an overloaded IT inbox.

Student feedback about the LMS experience is equally valuable but rarely captured systematically. Students encounter usability issues, mobile access problems, and workflow friction that educators and IT staff never see. A public feedback board gives students a voice in shaping their learning platform.

ProductLift's categorization and AI-powered duplicate detection are especially useful for large Moodle installations where the same issue might be reported by dozens of users across different departments. Merging those reports gives IT teams an accurate picture of how widespread a problem really is.

Moodle Feedback Board Plugin FAQ

How do I add a feedback to my Moodle site?

Add the ProductLift embed code to a custom page in Moodle. Most course platforms support custom HTML blocks or code injection. Alternatively, host on a subdomain like feedback.yoursite.com and add a link to your Moodle navigation menu.

Do I need to install a Moodle plugin?

No. ProductLift is hosted on its own servers and embedded via a small code snippet. There's nothing to install, no database tables created, and no performance impact on your Moodle site.

Can visitors submit feedback without creating an account?

Yes. Users can vote and submit feedback anonymously by default. You can optionally require email verification or account creation depending on your preference.

How does prioritization work?

ProductLift includes RICE, ICE, MoSCoW, and Impact-Effort scoring frameworks. Combine user votes with development effort estimates and revenue data from Stripe.

Can I merge duplicate feature requests?

Yes. AI automatically detects similar requests and suggests merges. You can also manually merge duplicates. All votes from merged requests are combined.

Can I customize the appearance?

Full customization for colors, fonts, and layout. White-label branding removes all ProductLift references.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 14-day free trial with full access, no credit card required. Plans start at $19/mo (billed annually).
